[starttext]KiberaTV is an idea that came about in 2008. The idea was to start a community TV channel for the people of Kibera. But there was a big challenge - who was going to film and edit the stories? in 2009, Hot Sun Film's non profit charitable trust- Hot Sun Foundation started the Kibera Film School to cater to the youth of Kibera. After graduation of the Class of 2009 in March 2010, there was not a better time than that to finally launch kiberaTV.
